Roughly 12 percent of students have sought professional help, such as counseling or therapy, through the TCU Counseling and Mental Health Center, said Dr. Eric Wood, associate director of the center.

 

While most aren't comfortable with sharing their feelings to people that are considered "strangers," the next best thing students can do, however, is to talk about any issues with trusted individuals, said Dr. Matthew Johnson, a licensed professional counselor at the Counseling and Mental Health Center.
